Emma & Bryan wanted their engagement photos to reflect their sense of adventure and their love for California, where Bryan grew up. When I suggested Joshua Tree as a possible location, they jumped on the idea since they'd both always wanted to visit. 

And it didn't disappoint! As I had promised, the sky turned a hazy rosy pink and the sand and rocks turned into a watercolor mirage of the most beautiful pastel colors with pops of my favorite type of green. 

It's simply one of the most serene places I've ever explored, the perfect mix of the familiar Utah deserts and California's tropical vibe.
