She grew up a keen observer living in her dad's wedding photography studio near Portland, and of her mom, an artist & painter by trade, trained by her ogichan (japanese grandfather) who was a professional watercolor painter in Japan. Over the years she learned that there was no single type of creating process that she could marry her whole soul to. Where she loves to live is on the exciting crossroads where different art forms come together to create something new and inspiring..

Ya girl, I know you're not use to having all the attention on you. I know you're not use to being flattered and pampered and made to feel beautiful. But this photo session is going to change that. For our time together, I'm going to push you to dig deeper. It starts with the booking process which is really transparent and all about setting expectations. Then there's planning process where you'll fill out my Love Your Story Questionnaire which is all about helping you set your intention and discover how you can bring personality and meaning to your photo shoot. Lastly, our time together will be like hanging out with a new friend you feel like you've known forever. This is all about celebrating YOU and your story. And if there's anything I'm good at, it's celebrating people I care about.

I don't show up to our shoot with a list of basic poses to get through and then call it good. That's a recipe for getting photos of yourself you don't love. Instead, I try to create an experience where you can start to feel comfortable and at-home in your environment. You do not need to be a model or feel comfortable in front of the camera to get incredible pictures. My expertise really comes to play at our shoot after I've helped you relax. And I'll boost your confidence by really guiding you to shine on camera. My job is to help you feel natural while capturing you in the most flattering way possible.
Remember my core values of creativity, connection, playfulness, and harmony? Those all really come out during our actual photo session. This will be a fun time where all you need to do is show up with an open mind and I will do the rest!
