We are bombarded daily with the "optimal" way to exist as women. These messages take advantage of our vulnerability to perfectionism and wanting everything to be as beautiful as it can be. But as far as your wedding is concerned, I'm here to tell you that there is nothing more beautiful than identifying your values as a couple and having a wedding that reflects who you are and what you want your marriage to look like! I'm here to help you do just that.

I. Someone you will be thrilled to have around playing such an involved role on your wedding day- someone like that friend you always call when you know they'll say and do just what you need- that friend that senses what you're feeling before it's even clear to you.
II. An expert in managing and and perceiving people. The photographer is not the wedding planner, but they do work closely with them and are focused on keeping vibes and spirits high.

Things to Consider For

After a phone consult, I deliver a proposal with several collection options based off of your specific wedding needs. I've found this to be the best way to provide personalized service so you know exactly what you're paying for, and always have the option to change your mind on certain things.

I accept bookings up to 12 months in advance. Because we have a young family with fluctuating schedules, I evaluate bookings based on the time of the year and the time=demand on my family and I. I accept fewer bookings than most photographers in order to give my full attention to my clients while keeping a healthy work-life balance.

My specialty is intimate-medium wedding groups where the focus is more on meaningful connection and experience than size. If you are planning a large wedding, I do recommend adding a second shooter to your collection which I provide.

I do offer local pricing. We move a lot which has led me to specialize in destination weddings and weekend events. As of 2024, we are located in Bentonville, Arkansas and foresee ourselves staying here for several years. We're originally from Utah and consider the West our home. As a result I usually discount for those places I love to visit often-reflected in the proposal.

As a general way to gauge what you should expect, couples I work with generally spend about 10-15% of their wedding budget on the pictures. This typically translates to a range of $6.5k-$20k+

Variables to Consider
Weddings can look like any combination of the following:
Destination Wedding- Typically involves multiple days of photo coverage to capture pre & post wedding celebrations.
Intimate Weddings- parties of anywhere from 30-75 guests.
Large Weddings- 100 + guests
Extravagant Weddings- 200+ guests
Elopements- Less than 30 people, typically in more remote & private locations.
Local Weddings- Close to home, but may still be a weekend event.

Here you have the chance to travel, or do something really relaxed for photos of you in your natural element. You can also have fun with fashion & styling, to get a more editorial gallery of photos showing you off at your best.

For that reason I reserve a portion of my availability every year for closer to home weddings and keep my travel fees to a minimum! For Once, It's All About You
Your photographer has to be able to play a very specific role at your wedding. They need to be a fly on the wall, but also assertive enough to carry your vision through when the time comes. Most importantly however is that they ought to bring the energy in the room up, help people feel confident and safe as themselves, and be a calming supporting presence through all the craziness. This holds true for all types of photo work, because when you feel confident and safe is when magic happens.

The craft of storytelling is dear to my heart, and it wouldn't be done right if I just showed up the day of and snapped away with my camera. I have an order of operations that allows us to get to know each other, help you clearly communicate your creative vision, and that gives us a safe space to collaborate and come over-prepared to make it all come to life.
On the day of, you will not have to worry about me or divert your energy toward my work. All you can do will already have been done. I will now have the tools to experience the day with you and intentionally tell the story of the little moments you may not have otherwise remembered, build a curated collection of images to remember the details, and capture your memories in a way that immortalizes them. The goal is to capture not just the smiles, but the personality, authenticity, and soul.
